Who I am
Hadrian Holmes Ltd (“I”, “me”) is the data controller for this website, hadrianholmes.co.uk. You can contact me about anything in this policy at [EMAIL] or on [PHONE].
What I collect, and why
The only personal data this site collects is what you type into the contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), postcode, project type, budget band and message. I use it for one purpose — responding to your enquiry and, if you become a client, arranging the work. The lawful basis is your consent, given by the tick-box on the form, and thereafter legitimate interest in corresponding about your project.
Where it goes
Form submissions are delivered to my email inbox by Resend, an email delivery service that processes the message content on my behalf. The site is hosted by Vercel. If you accept analytics cookies, Google processes anonymised usage statistics as described below. All three act as data processors; none uses your details for anything else. I don’t sell, share or add your details to any marketing list.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses one optional tool: Google Analytics, which helps me see which pages get read. It sets cookies only if you accept the notice that appears on your first visit — if you decline (or ignore it), no analytics cookies are set. There are no advertising pixels, no profiling and no other trackers. You can change your mind by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which brings the notice back.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don’t become jobs are deleted within 12 months. Records relating to completed work are kept for 6 years, as required for tax, warranty and insurance purposes.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask me for a copy of the personal data I hold about you, ask me to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email [EMAIL] and I’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
